The Andover Tap, the area’s first micro pub dedicated to craft and real ales, has celebrated its second birthday. After a tumultuous two years that have included 18 months of the pandemic, Tim Abram who started the venture is optimistic for the future.
Last Saturday many well-wishers visited The Tap, and there was a special evening with nibbles, a Beer Quiz hosted by Tim, and other attractions. These included a Birthday Cake brewed with Dun Stout, a beer that Tim produced when brewer for Test Brewing before he opened The Tap.
The Tap offers both traditional cask ales as well as modern craft beers along with a range of gins and other drinks. Regular themed events are also held ranging from tasting sessions to food evenings such as Pie & Firkin. Coming next is a Cheese Fondue evening and The Tap is also taking part in Andover Rocks when it will host different music acts throughout the day.
Happy Birthday to The Tap – and for more success in the future.
