New Bottleshop announces opening – Twisted Crow

Yes, its just outside our main area and not a place usually high on the list of attractions for beer, but might that change for Basingstoke?

The town is to have a new Craft Beer Off Licence so things are certainly looking up.
The Twisted Crow Beer & Bottleshop now has permissions and the opening is eagerly awaited. The premises is at 6 Mortimer Lane, off Flaxfield Road, and just a very short walk from the New Inn.

Twisted Crow have announced their opening with much excitement, saying:
It’s that time at last to announce our official opening. Friday 25th June we will be opening our doors and our website for the first time.
The shop will open 12-7 Friday 25th, 2-7 on Saturday and Sunday 26th & 27th.
With nearly 200 of the finest beers the UK can offer at the moment.
Free next day delivery to RG21-24 Postcodes and next day mainland GB shipping available.

This will be an amazing choice of beers, perhaps the best range ever seen in the town. Indeed we cannot remember any selection so good. The last such venture was many years ago when UtoBeer took a site in Basingstoke before the popularity of tastier more eclectic beers took a massive increase in popularity.

This will be awesome and start to put Basingstoke firmly on the ‘craft beer map’.
It is a business that must be given the best wishes possible for a success.
We cannot wait until the opening.
