Basingstoke’s first dedicated craft beer shop has settled in to a good start and is highly recommended for a visit. With around 200 different beers the small premises tucked away in Mortimer Lane the Twisted Crow Beer & Bottle Shop is a veritable treasure trove of exciting tastes.

Beers have been sourced from throughout the country and include almost every style imaginable from mouth puckering sours and creamy coffee stouts to mind numbing barley wines and of course easy drinking session beers.
Mat Bedford who runs this new venture is a fountain of knowledge and will always be able to make recommendations having, he admits, to having tried nearly every one himself!
No one need be disappointed.
Deliveries are available locally or selections can be made up for collection – or just visit, browse and buy. Currently opening hours are 2.00pm – 7.00pm Tuesday to Sunday.
Note there is no parking at the shop but there are car parks five minutes or less away and bus stops are very close (see website).

TWISTED CROW BEER & BOTTLE SHOP
A visit to The Twisted Crow is highly recommended.
The Twisted Crow does not provide on site drinking, and of course with thoughts of beer you may also be getting thirsty. Nearby – less than a two minute walk – is the very traditional and friendly New Inn at the bottom of Sarum Hill; a pub that has been serving drinkers in Basingstoke for many years.
After stocking up at the Twisted Crow why not call in and enjoy a tasty pint of a traditional bitter direct from the hand pumps.
