The Andover Tap, the town’s micro pub, launched its Tap on Tour bar at the InAndover Boot Sale on Bank Holiday Monday.
The Tap, which specialises in a wide selection of both traditional and new style craft beers, has converted a horse box for visiting local events. At its first event customers were enjoying beers, gins and Pimms as well as soft drinks.
The pandemic has caused considerable hardships to many in the hospitality trade, leading to less traditional avenues of trade being explored. Tim Abram who owns the Andover Tap in Winchester Street has already introduced themed evenings as well as taking a space in Andover’s Shared Shop in the Chantry Centre. He also introduced a local delivery service for his beers and ciders and stocks a range of products not usually available elsewhere.
Tap on Tour will be a welcome addition at fetes, displays, private parties and similar events.
